Kimberly has worked in the health field as an Army combat medic for the last 13 years, teaching combat medicine for five of those years and now operating as a flight medic. She holds an M.Ed. in Exercise Science from Wichita State University. Kimberly has trained in various martial arts over the last 10 years. She started learning to box on deployment in Iraq in 2005. Upon returning to the U.S. she started training Muay Thai and transitioned over to studying Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Kimberly currently holds the rank of blue belt under Prof. Andre Monteiro. She discovered the art of girevoy sport through a friend Matt Sanders and has never looked back.

A Certified Modern Kettlebell Sport Trainer level 2 and Certified IKFF Kettlebell Teacher Level 1, she holds the current Women’s 24kg Long Cycle world record and was the first woman to obtain Master of Sport ranking in women’s Long Cycle. She runs her own successful kettlebell program in her private gym, Fox Fitness, which opened in 2011. The gym, which she co-owns with her husband, specializes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and kettlebell training. Last but not least, she is the mother of a very rambunctious two-year-old.
